Between being a Grammy Award-winning, multi-platinum-selling producer; a father; an occasional painter; and a creative director at Reebok, it would seem as though Swizz Beatz has his plate pretty full. But apparently, there’s still some room on it for him to take on another role. Today, luxury automobile company Lotus announced that it has brought Swizz on board as its new Vice President of Creative Design & Global Marketing. According to
AutoGuide.com, the announcement follows fairly logically from the appointment of other celebrities to creative positions at car companies over the last year. So what makes Swizz Beatz the perfect man to add to the Lotus line-up? Three little facts:
1. Like Group Lotus, he means business: He’s a risk taker with considerable credentials including music producer, rapper, designer AND painter.
2. Like our cars, he’s multi award winning: This year he shared a Grammy Award with Jay-Z.
3. Like Group Lotus he keeps good company: This man regularly works with the likes of Bono, Kanye West, Beyoncé and Alicia Keys.
