Oakley is capitalizing on the wealth of design influences (and immense hype power) of TRON: Legacy with a few interesting collaborations. We showed you the TRON x Oakley 3D Gascan eyewear earlier this month; now Oakley is releasing a collection of a TRON-influenced pair of glasses and backpack that evoke the armored suits and vehicles featured in the movie. The Pit Boss glasses, released under Oakley’s Elite division, are a sculpted design that Oakley spent years fine tuning, and feature titanium inserts and polarized lenses. It’s a futuristic pair of glasses before any TRON influence comes in, so it’s perfect for the Sci-Fi collaboration. The Hard Shell backpack is a ruggedly-built bag, with solid exoskeletal panels (which are removable), and all of the functional features you would expect from Oakley (a padded laptop storage panel with side access, a padded waist strap for carrying heavy loads, and an exterior phone holster.
